Treatment Programs at HLHR Rehab

At HLHR Rehab, every treatment program is designed to nurture the whole person. From medically supervised detox through outpatient aftercare, our mindfulness-centered approach weaves clinical rigor with body awareness, spiritual grounding, and community connection — because lasting recovery requires more than symptom management.

Medical Detox

Medical detox at HLHR Rehab provides 24/7 physician-supervised withdrawal management within our secure, calming environment. Our nursing team monitors vitals around the clock while administering medication-assisted treatment tailored to each substance — whether alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or stimulants.

What distinguishes our detox is the integration of holistic support from day one. Guided breathwork sessions ease physical discomfort. Gentle stretching maintains body awareness. Our staff introduces mindfulness techniques early so clients build coping skills before the intensity of residential programming begins. Typical detox stays range from 3 to 7 days, depending on the substance and individual medical needs.

Residential treatment

Residential Treatment

Our residential program immerses clients in 30 to 90 days of structured, round-the-clock care within our 54-bed facility. Each day follows a mindfulness-centered schedule that begins with extended morning meditation and breathwork, moves through individual counseling and group therapy, and incorporates movement-based healing like yoga, swimming, and outdoor fitness.

Clients work closely with their treatment team to set personal goals using motivational enhancement techniques. Equine-assisted therapy, psychodrama, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) deepen self-understanding, while family programming sessions rebuild trust with loved ones. Our residential environment is designed to feel like a sanctuary — a place where stillness and intention replace chaos and compulsion.

Outpatient Program

Our outpatient programs allow clients to continue therapeutic growth while living at home and maintaining work, school, or family responsibilities. Partial Hospitalization (PHP) meets 5 days per week for 2 to 4 weeks, while Intensive Outpatient (IOP) meets 3 days per week for 8 to 12 weeks — both offering the same integrative modalities used in residential care.

Outpatient participants attend individual counseling, group therapy, and mindfulness workshops. They practice applying breathwork and meditation in real-world settings, building the self-regulation skills that prevent relapse. Our clinical team coordinates closely with each client's external support system — primary care physicians, sponsors, and family members — to ensure continuity of care.

Dual diagnosis therapy

Dual Diagnosis

Roughly half of individuals with substance use disorders also experience co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. At HLHR Rehab, we treat both conditions simultaneously through our integrated dual diagnosis program, because addressing one without the other leaves recovery incomplete.

Our psychiatric team conducts thorough assessments and develops individualized treatment plans that combine medication management with evidence-based therapies — CBT for thought patterns, DBT for emotional regulation, and mindfulness practices for present-moment awareness. By honoring the mind-body connection, we help clients understand how unresolved psychological pain fuels substance use, and we equip them with healthier responses.
